Awnless Bromegrass is a perennial forage plant. Grows sucessfully in areas with annual 350-400 mm rain.
Its height reach to 50-100cm
Tolerant to draught and cold
It is a rhizomatous plant. Tolerant to grazing. It is considered to be a grazing plant as it is very nutritious and qualified.
Hay yielding in dry areas is 200-500 kg/de, wet parts is up to 750-1250kg/de.
While it can grown on its own on neutral nitrogen fertilizer, it can also be used with alfalfa and clover
